PBH Blood Drive Nears Goal, Calls For More Donors

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With 296 students already signed up, the Phillips Brooks House blood drive is nearing its 300 pint goal, S. M. Strawson, Jr. '47, chairman of the Blood Donor Committee, announced yesterday afternoon.

"Additional volunteers are still needed to meet the quota," Strawson warned, "as many who have already signed up to give blood may be rejected for medical reasons. Such reasons include low hemoglobin count or a fever."

At the same time, the Department of Physical Training announced that Freshmen who give blood to the PBH drive will be given credit toward their athletic participation requirement.
