Lowell Trips Kirkland in Debate On Restriction of Closed Shop

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Defending the negative of the question, "Resolved: That the closed shop should he abolished," Lowell House won a unanimous decision over Kirkland House last night.

The winning side based its claim on the argument that no institution should be abolished unless it can clearly be shown that it is harming segments of society.

Speaking for the winners were Haim Blane '47 and William Frost '47. Lynn Ely '50 and Robert Bigham '45 spoke for Kirkland.
