Hyde, Ex-Air Corps Lieutenant, Awarded National Scholarship

Beal Baker Hyde '48, of Brookline and Eliot House, has been awarded a Veterans' National Scholarship by the President and Fellows, the Committee on Scholarships announced today.

Hyde, a graduate of Wellesley High School, is a concentrator in Biology. Prior to entering the College in June, 1946, he served for 34 months in the Army Air Corps, attaining the rank of first lieutenant.
