NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Socialism, and its value will be the topic of a debate scheduled for Tuesday at 6 o'clock, in Harvard 6, between the Socialist Workers Party and the Debate Council.

Defending the Council's negative position on the topic, "Resolved, That Socialism is worthy of support" will be J. Philip Bahn '49 and Detlev F. Vagts '49; while two speakers from the Socialist Workers Party will uphold the affirmative.

The debate will end with no decision, and audience discussion with follow the speeches. A similar debate was held at the Boston headquarters of the Socialist Workers earlier this year.

Other debates planned for the near future by the Council include a contest against Cornell on Friday, and one against Vermont on Tuesday, April 8. The customary spring term tryouts for those wishing to join the Council will not take place until after the vacation period.
