An error in the official announcement led to the story in yesterday's CRIMSON reporting that Alfred North Whitehead, professor of Philosophy, emeritus, would speak last night at Phillips Brooks House.
Thomas North Whitehead, director of Administration at Radcliffe, spoke yesterday on "Hebrew--Christian Ethics in Administration" instead of his father, as had been reported in the University announcement.
Whitehead pointed out in his talk that "Hebrew-Christian ethics are built on the value and dignity of each and every human being.
He added that, "the Hebrew-Christian ethic, as it applies to the administrator, gives a high value to the individual." He concluded that out ethics have done very little to develop attitudes and behavior patterns to cope with our complex society.
