Under the sponsorship of the Morris Gray Poetry Fund, John Ciardi will give a reading from his poems with commentary this afternoon in Sever 11 at 4:30 o'clock. Ciardi's new book, "Other Skies--primarily war poems, will be published in the fall.

Previous Morris Gray lecturers this year include Robert Frost in November, and Wallace Stevens last month. T. S. Eliot will round out the season's program sometime in May.
