Once-Defeated Jayvee Basketball Five Plays Suffolk Squad Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Hal Kopp's once-defeated Junior Varsity Basketball team will take to the Indoor Athletic Building Court at 8 o'clock tonight to meet an unknown Suffolk University foe in their first hoop contest of the term. Prior to the game, the Jayvees will elect a permanent captain to lead the squad through the remaining encounters of the season.

Dave McGiffert, one of Kopp's former stalwarts, has graduated to the Varsity and according to Kopp "will be missed," but three new men have joined the squad this term who he hopes will be able to use aggregation tonight.

In previous starts the Jayvees have defeated Gordon College and the Boston Coast Guard station, and dropped a 66 to 44 contest to a powerful Brown Freshman

The starting lineup for tonight is Bob Crotty, l.f., Frank Bixler, r.f., Herb Everett, c., Dean Markham, r.g., and Steve Brademas, l.g.
