Undefeated Freshman and Jayvee hockey teams will precede the Varsity to the Arena ice today, as the Yardlings take on Arlington High School at 2 o'clock, and the Junior sextet follows in a game with Newton High.
Arlington leads seven other schools in the Greater Boston Interscholastic Hockey League and should give Coach Stan Priddy's squad its toughest match of the season. Led by former Exonian Dave Abbott, the speedy Freshmen have a 5 to 1 win over St. Mark's School behind them to highlight their unblemished record.
Jayvee Personnel Transient
Playing the most informal schedule of the three College teams, the Jayvees have several victories both official and unofficial to their credit; but their chances against Newton today must remain a question mark due to the constant state of flux of the squad.
Composed of those members of the Varsity who do not dress for the games, the Jayvees change lineups frequently. Of a Varsity squad of approximately 30 men, 16 can dress for each game under present rules.
The probable Freshman lineup: lw, Fletcher; c, Abbott; rw, Almy; ld, Key; rd, Allen; g, Draper.
