George Hauptfuhrer's 14-point effort in the Varsity's losing performance at Hanover Wednesday night established a new season scoring record for a Crimson basketball player. The six-foot-four-inch center has totalled 329 points in 20 games, eight points higher than Wyndol Gray's total of 321 points last season:

The defeat at Dartmouth also dropped Coach Bill Barclay's team from fourth to sixth place in Ivy League competition.
