HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Election of three members at large and the question of H.L.U. affiliation with the newly-formed students' division of "Americans for Democratic Action" will head the docket tomorrow evening at 7:30 o'clock, when the Liberal Union convenes in the Lowell House Common Room.
At the meeting, H.L.U. President William Bozman '46 will also report on his testimony prepared for the Legislative Committee, on the subject of a state rent control commission.
Rejecting "any alliance with totalitarian groups--either communist or fascists" the A.D.A. will bring to the H.L.U. an issue which has occupied the spotlight in its inner councils for the past term, and which resulted in violent debates between the A.Y.D. faction and its opponents.
In a bitter contest last term, an HLU majority ousted more radical members from executive office in a move that paralleled action taken all over the country by progressive organizations.
