In a calm precipitated by the complete absence of a Crimson audience, Coach Kopp's Jayvee basketballers eked out a 51 to 48 victory overt the Northeastern Junior Varsity at the Indoor Athletic Building last night.
Behind at the first quarter by three points, the Jayvees rallied to go ahead before the intermission, but the Huskies came back with an 18 point barrage in the third quarter to regain the lead. With five minutes to go in the game and the score deadlocked at 45-45, Steve Brademas re-entered the fray to lead a game-clinching last minute spurt.
Jayvee Dick Forster alternated at the pivot with Ted Nelson and was high scorer with 16 points.
The Harvard lineup: rf, Schafer; lf, Brademas; c, Nelson; rg, Holt; lg, Hymans.
