Both sexes will be represented in a forensic due from the University of California which meets members of the Debate Council for a discussion of federal control of labor unions in the Winthrop House Junior Common Room tonight at 8 o'clock.
Speaking for the Crimson on the negative side of the topic "Resolved, That Federal control of labor unions should be increased," will be: Roy G. Clouse '50 and Ellis Kaplan '46. They will oppose Kenneth DeMattel and Miss Juanita Olson from the U. of C. at Berkeley. It is the first time that a coed has appeared in a debate here for several years.

Miss Olson is one of the leading members of the West Coast team, and won the Joffre medal in the traditional contest between California and Stanford last year.
Tomorrow's debate will be the second of the term for the Council, which took a unanimous decision over Temple University last Tuesday. More than nine events are already scheduled for the spring season, and arrangements are being made for several more, according to Robert M. Beren '47, Council president.
