Massachusetts' pioneering strides in fair employment practice legislation will be discussed by state F.E.P.C. Commissioner Elwood S. McKenney '38 at the spring term organizational meeting of the Liberal Union at 7:30 o'clock in Emerson D.

One of three commissioners appointed last August by ex-Governor Tobin, former G-2 intelligence agent McKenney will describe the history, philosophy, and machinery of the Bay State F.E.P.C. law, which is the third such statute passed in the nation and patterned after the New York model.

Outcome of what the E.E.P.C. office yesterday formed "economic discrimination found existing in Massachusetts," the law went into effect on August 21, 1946 after a long fight on the part of various civil groups to wipe out all Vestiges of racial and religious prejudice
