Quintet Seeks 3rd Win In Garden Tilt Tonight

By William S.falrfield

Bill Barclay's varsity basketball squad will pay its first visit of the current campaign to what has practically become its home court when the Crimson takes on a potent Boston University five at the Boston Garden tonight at 9.30 o'clock. National champion Holy Cross will open the hoop festivities meeting Valparaiso in the first half of the double-headed program at 8 o'clock.

The fact that the Terriers matched Harvard's 57 to 46 triumph over M.I.T., with a 51 to 40 victory of their own over the Engineers indicates that the contest should be a light one down to the final horn.

In forward George Goodreault and center George Winkler, B.U. has two scoring aces ready and willing to pit their point registering prowess against that of Captain George Hauptfuhrer and forward-center John Rockwell. Winkler, in fact, bested Hauptfuhrer's spree against M.I.T., 19 to 18 points.

MoCurdy Still Out

While Walt McCurdy has been kept sidelined awaiting decisions by Yale and Cornell on his eligibility, Barclay has planned two position shifts to strengthen his starting five.

Ex-guard Bill Henry has been moved permanently to forward as a result of his work at that post in the Brown game. To confuse the 'Terriers Barclay will alternate Hauptfuhrer and Rockwell repeatedly on offense.

Former Crimson varsity football candidate George Boston will start at guard for the Terriers.

The probable starting lineups: HARVARD  B.U. Hauptfuhrer  RF  Goodreault Henry  LF  Lynch Rockwell  C  Wlnklor Brady  RG  Boston Davis  LG  Clem
