In an effort to coordinate student opinion on the proposed War Memorial Plaque, Harvard's American Veterans Committee chapter last night telegraphed the presidents of 60 graduate and undergraduate organizations to announce a mass planning meeting on Thursday.
Action taken at the meeting is expected to supplement the Student Council's work in connection with the University War Memorial, AVC Chairman Stanley G. Karson '49 explained. The Council in concentrating its efforts to secure support for the Student Activities Counter only from the alumni.
Every student organization in the College and several graduate school clubs have been invited to the meeting, scheduled for 8 o'clock in the Brooks House Parlor.
