Yuletide food conservation reaches into every corner of the University today when bread and butter are stricken from all means and the Medical School pushes forward plans for a more far-reaching calory-saving program similar to that defeated recently in the College.
The wheat saved in University dining halls today in the AVC sponsored plan will be shipped to Scotland aboard a Christmas relief vessel. Financial contributions to the shipment may be addressed to the S. S. Yankee Friendship, Boston Chamber of Commerce.
The University is the first to undertake such a program.
