Election of the 1948 Varsity football captain will be held in the team's locker room in Dillon Field House at 5:40 o'clock this afternoon. Retiring manager John Judkins named 10 returning lettermen yesterday who will be Seniors next fail.
This group, from which captains are normally selected, includes: Walter Coulson, Emil Drvaric, John Florentine, Chip Gannon, George Goodrich, John Gorezynski, Ken O'Donnell, Nick Rodis, Don Stone, and Gibby Warren.
Judkins also named three other players who received letters for participation in the Yale game in addition to those listed in yesterday's CRIMSON. They are: Coulson, Bill Fitz, and Rocky Stone. This brings to 39 the number of 1947 lettermen.
Of these, 15 are graduating Seniors, Judkins said. They are: Vince Moravec, Jim Feinberg, Bill Brady, Tom Felt, Fitz, Leo and Wally Flynn, Bucky Harrison, Bob Kennedy, Ozzie Kiever, Paul Lazzaro, Dean Markham, Ken Middendorf, Frank Miklos, and Chester Pierce.
