150-lb. Crew Will Get Major Letter Awards

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Last spring's championship 150-pound crew received another laurel yesterday as the H.A.A. voted to award major H's to every member of the undefeated first boat.

The lightweights, one of the strongest boats on the Charles last spring, not only captured the Goldthwaite Cup, emblematic of Big Three supremacy, but also won the Wright cup on the Charles over eight other boats, crushing Princeton with a bruising last-minute sprint.

In the future, any 150-pound oarsman who wins a minor H for three consecutive years will receive a major letter the third season.
