"The People's Charter," a 20 minute documentary film describing the events that led up to the writing of the United Nation's Charter, will be shown at a general membership meeting of the University chapter of the American Veterans Committee, Wednesday at 7:30 o'clock in Emerson D.
Meanwhile, as the first step in a campaign to induce motion picture palaces in the Boston area to show UN-produced films, the College UN Council has asked the University Theater to screen "The People's Charter," which is the first production of the UN's film division.
The film, made up of extracts from thousands of feet of celluloid shot all over the world during the past six years, was first released in Rio de Janeiro at the time of President Truman's visit there.
