Pre-Yale Game WHRV Roundup Stars Egan With Old Grid Greats

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Disagreement over the relative merits of the Harlow November "system" and Yale material may be waxing warm by the Thursday before the sixty-fourth meeting between the Blue and Red, but no Entry bull session will outglow the airwaves of WHRV that evening.

David F. Egan '22, Boston Record sports scribe not noted for old grad sentiment informed College station program manager Robert L. Wechsler '49 yesterday that he would definitely accept an invitation to broadcast on November 20.

Last night Wechsler announced that he was soliciting the presence of William J. Bingham '16, Director of Athletics, and all-American Crimson lineman Vern Miller and Endicott "Chub" Peabody, both '42.

These sporting luminaries, if Wechsler's plans materialize, will participate in a general symposium on Ivy League football which Egan has described as "the football equivalent of the Appalachian League."

William Cunningham, Boston Herald sports pundit, regretfully declined yesterday because he would be "out of town."
