All students will be out of the Indoor Athletic Building by next Thursday at the present rate of placement, Robert B. Watson '37, associate dean of the College in charge of housing, predicted yesterday.
In a verbal agreement with William J. Hingham '16, Watson had agreed to clear the gymnasium floor by October 20, in time for full fall basketball practice. The University Housing office, to meet the earlier deadline, has been working nights, Watson stated.
"Houses are reporting vacancies for the 20 extra men allotted to each at a great rate," he continued. Watson praised the cooperation of both University officials and students, which he said greatly speeded the exodus from the gym floor.
