Chief desideratum for the pages of a College literary publication should be critical columns on drama and music subjects, according to the results of the poll taken at registration by Signature, the newly-organized Harvard-Radcliffe successor to Radditudes.
Results of the survey, released yesterday, placed feature stories by Harvard and Radcliffe faculty members as second item on the popularity list. Other requests included a regular column of important events of literary and artistic interest both at the University and in Boston, to be run as a supplement to the columns of criticism and review.
One Request for Current Events
Of those polled, only one student asked for articles on current world problems such as the UN. The idea of soliciting commentaries from colleges, suggested in the poll, was greeted for the most part enthusiastically, although a few of the responses were empliatic in their demand that the subject-matter of Signature be limited strictly to local topics.
Full results of the poll will be included in the coming November 3 issue of Signature, when individual votes will be listed in a tabulation by percentage.
