Antonio G. Haas '44, Junior from Leverett House and Mazatian, Mexico,was elected president of the Advocate in a special session last night, succeeding Donald B. Watt '47, who was appointed to the post by the Graduate Board when the literary magazine was revived last spring.
Hass, who spent the five-year gap in his college career in Mexico, as the only candidate for the office. No other executive changes were made.
The remainder of Mother Advocate's governing body. which has been directing its activities since last spring, include Pegasus--literary editor--William A. Emerson, Jr. '48, Treasurer Armin St, George'49, and Art Editor Stuart C. Welch, Jr. '50.
