Rally Turns Out Vociferous Few

Cambridge's own rebel yell--"To hell with Virginia; beat the Cross!" curdled Harvard's blood last night, as a small but vocal group prepared for today's crusade against Holy Cross with a rally on the steps of the Indoor Athletic Building.

There they heard Bob Margarita, Hal Kopp, and seven members of the football squad promise a bloody afternoon. "We're gonna hit 'em, by God; we're gonna hit 'em," Kopp said.

Rough Game

But Wait Coulson, star end, had the last word. "Ox DaGrosa said he's going to play from concrete to concrete. Well, if we have anything to say about it, we'll have Holy Cross playing in the nickel seats."

Except for these moments of excitement, the rally was a disappointment to all but the most besotted Harvards. So small in number was the gathering, in fact, that even Coach Harlow did not appear.

A depleted band contingent led 300-odd students along a new line of march from the Yard, following Holyoke St., to Lowell House, back to Mount Auburn and down Plympton St., to before turning into the Eliot-Kirkland triangle and back to Holyoke St.
