Yardling Skaters Face Framingham's Squad

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With two solid victories tucked under their belt, the Freshman pucksters will be chasing their third straight when they face off with a highly rated, weather-blessed Framingham High team this afternoon on the opponents home ice.

Lack of practice since vacation was the only fact that dampened Freshman Coach Sam Priddy's hopes, as he looked over the records in an attempt to prognosticate the outcome. The 5-2 route over Belmont Hill, called one of the best teams in the business by Coach Chase of the Varsity, was reassuring to the Yardling mentor.

The absence due to sickness of high-scoring Dave Abbott, who had rallied the team to both victories by his sharp-shooting from the center position, will be a serious blow to the sextet's offensive prowess.

The probable starting lineup: lw, Almy; c, Freedman; rw, Fletcher; ld, Allen; rd, Key; g, Yetman.
