Schussmen Cop Seventh Place At College Week Competition

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Snowed under by their lack of practice, the Ski team, slid into a seventh place position out of a field of ten on New Year's Day in the College Week competition at Lake Placid.

The Crimson spent a dry and disappointing New Years. Their Yuletide cheering was directed at the heads of the well-practiced "professional" teams from lower New York who schussed off with the first couple of places.

With this as their only showing in actual competition, and with no practice before the meet or since, the team will be holding a wet finger weather-ward in hope for a chance to get in some hard practice before the West Point meet of February 1.
