Yearling Quintet Looks for Talent

Only one defeat mars the record of Coach Moe Berg's Freshman hoop quintet, as they set their sights on this term fees.

Starting the season impressively with a victory in a practice game with Andover and going on to subdue Exeter 50 to 34, the tall Yardlings maintained their winning streak through four games until the powerful Brown aggregation eked out a 46 to 45 victory on January 8.

Squantum Naval Air Station and Tufts were the other pre-Christmas victims of the squad, the Navy team succumbing to an 83 to 13 deluge of Crimson tallies, while the Jumbos fell before a last minute onslaught by Captain John Rockwell and Chuck Brynteson, 44 to 41.

With an eye on the incoming class, Coach Berg asks anyone who thinks he can ordinarily play on a Freshman team to drop up to the Indoor Athletic Building any afternoon after 3 o'clock.
