Eli 'Davy Crocketts' Pick Off Crimson Riflemen, 1351-1301

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Eli rifles proved too accurate for Crimson marksmen in the postal match fired two weeks ago, according to scores just obtained from the central office of the New England Rifle Association.

Taking their shots at the bulls-eyes in the Indoor Athletic Building the Varsity blasted the targets for 1301 points while the Blue came up with 1351 at New Haven. It was the first loss for the Crimson.

The Massachusetts State match, fired three weeks ago, was forfeited by the Staters, leaving the Varsity with a record of three wins, two by forfeit, and one defeat.
