New scholarship competitions have been opened for American college graduates wishing a year's free study at either Oxford or Cambridge. Under the provisions of Lady Julia Renry's will, any man or woman who has graduated from an American college since 1942 may apply for a scholarship grant.

Winners of the competition receive fellowships of $2,400, under which they may enroll in any courses at either English university. Applications must be submitted before February 28, either to the Office of the Secretary of Yale University or to the Office of the Secretary of the Corporation of Harvard.
