In spite of the relatively low attendance because of examination periods in many of the participating college, the Boston Council of the Intercollegiate Outing Clubs of America last weekend frolicked its way through its first Winter Carnival and had enough fun to install the two-day gathering as a permanent feature of the annual program.
Following a professional skating exhibition Saturday afternoon at the Charles River Country Club, an estimated 325 enthusiasts repaired to Memorial Hall where a University Outing Club square dance was held.
