Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
As a finale for the activities on Harvard's baseball diamonds for the summer, Coach Adolph Samborski, director of intramural athletics, announced yesterday that an open baseball tournament will be held next week.
This tournament will not affect the present intramural league schedule. The unusual feature of the play-offs according to Samborski will be participation of varsity players and of a squad called "dormitories."
The Dormitory Team will represent men who live in University buildings but who are not connected with any House. The championship team will be chosen by a play-off system.
The Schedule:
Monday, August 12--
1. Leverett vs. Adams
2. Winthrop vs. Kirkland
Tuesday, August 13--
Dudley vs. Lowell
Dunster vs. Dormitories
Wednesday, August 14--
Winners of games 1 and 2.
Thursday, August 15--
Winners of games 3 and 4.
Monday, August 19--
Championship play-off.
All games are scheduled at four o'clock on the afternoon of the game.
