HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Tennis, like most other outdoor activities, was hard hit by the early weekend rains, and Saturday's double-feature matches, in which the Varsity was to face the Belmont Tennis Club and the Jayvees were to challenge Bowdoin College, were cancelled.
The Belmont-Varsity clash was slated for Dillon Field Courts, which began a gradual disintegration Friday. Brunswick, home of Bowdoin, evidently was awash also, for before Friday ended, Coach Bob Ashley received a cancellation by telephone. Also postponed was quarter-finals competition in the University's summer tennis tournament.
