Novice Crews Face First Trial In Races Scheduled August 22

Bert Haines' oarsmen, the University's newest crew candidates, will have their first taste of real competition August 22 in a race for novice eights, in which four boats will be entered.

Medals will be awarded to the members of the winning crew, Adolph Samborski, director of intramural athletics, announced today.
