Howland Hall stroked his 150-pound crew to victory yesterday in a mile race for three boats made up of the Varsity squads of last spring.
Two heavier crews, stroked by Bill Malcom and Dick Emmet, finished one and a half and three and a half lengths respectively behind Hall's boat, the winning time being 5 minutes, 16 seconds.
