Application blanks for terminal leave pay due veterans under recently enacted legislation are not available yet, but a spokesman for the public relations office of the Army's First Service Command in Boston said yesterday they are expected "any day now."
The blanks, when ready, will be distributed to post offices in Cambridge. University veterans will receive government bonds in payment for accrued leave and furlough time after filling out the forms and mailing them to the Finance Office, Army Base, Boston.
Original plans, as announced in Washington, called for distribution of the blanks last week. Apparently the printing of them, which the Army spokesman called a "massive job," caused the delay.
