The First Service Command announced last weekend that 7,589 vacancies are available for national guard and reserve officers interested in returning to active duty, and a trip to the Boston Post Office is all that has to be done. Plain, ordinary A.U.S. brass isn't being slighted, either; apply, and they hand you a reserve or national guard commission.
