NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mrs. Jean Bullit Darlington's now-famous $100,000 law suit against the University for alleged neglect of a Rubens painting she sent to Fogg Museum for authentication was at legal logger-heads last night.

Oscar M. Shaw, attorney for the University, said "We are awaiting word of Mrs. Darlington's plans." Mrs. Darlington, similarly announced last week she was awaiting word of the University's plans.

Shaw said he "has no way of knowing" what Mrs. Darlington plans to do with the masterpiece, "Descent from the Cross," which was returned to Fogg recently after having been missing for six years. "She has identified the painting as hers," he said, "and we are prepared to deliver it--but she hasn't requested it yet."
