Adams and Dunster Tie 7 to 7 As Play Is Halted by Darkness

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the only intramural diamond contest played yesterday, Dunster and Adams battled their way to a seven-inning 7 to 7 tie, which was finally called because of gathering darkness.

It was a see-saw affair all the way, as the Funster forces pushed over a brace of tallies in the last of the sixth to break a 4-4 deadlock, only to have their opponents score thrice in the final frame and lead 7 to 6. Dunster tied the score in their half of the seventh, but failed in the clutch as the potential winning run died on third.

Kirkland and Dudley postponed their softball game for lack of players. Today Leverett plays Kirkland, while Lowell faces Dudley on the hardball field.
