Tuition, Medical Charges Can Be Disregarded by Veterans

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Veterans who received term bills this week can disregard tuition and medical fees if they have presented evidence that they are entitled to rights under P.L. 346, P.L. 16, or Canadian Vets Bill. Freshmen and Sophomores under these laws can also disregard the HAA fee, the Veterans Counsellor said yesterday. The first term bill must be paid by July 15.

All returned servicemen who have not received special dispensation from their dean or the Compteller's office must pay room and board for the present. However, when subsistence checks come through from the Veterans Administration they will be retroactive from registration day.

Men who did not apply for these checks before registration day should not expect their checks before August.
