Council Offer of $50 Stipend Remains Open for Entire Term

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Because the Student Council awarded only one $50 scholarship for men who need help with this summer's term bill, it has been decided to leave applications open for this stipend for the rest of the summer term.

Formerly, a deadline date of July 6 was established by the Scholarship Committee. Most of the men who filed applications at that time were merely applying for aid until they received their allotment checks, and these men were refused aid because the University can aid them with much less confusion and effort, the Committee declared.

Men who wish to apply for this financial aid may do so any time during the summer term by seeing the Phillips Brooks House secretary.
