The following is the food-conservation ballot to be distributed in House, Union and Business School dining halls today at the noon meal.
1. Are you in favor of retaining the present program of rationing bread, cake, and wheat cereals?
2. Are you in favor of restoring non-critical desserts to the menus of noon meals and substituting a voluntary pledge of a weekly money contribution?
3. Are you in favor of extending the rationing program to include other food items agreed to by the University Administration, with the understanding that if such an extension receives a two-thirds vote, a second ballot will be taken on particular items?
4. For convenience, opportunity is here given you to make a pledge of a weekly money contribution. Pledges may be paid at the dining halls. I pledge $..... as a weekly contribution to Harvard Food Relief.
