In their last meeting the Faculty of Arts and Sciences approved an undergraduate program in applied science to be offered by the new Department of Engineering Sciences and Applied Physics, F. V. Hunt, chairman of the department, announced yesterday.
The new program of concentration, which includes six courses for distribution of general education and ten courses giving broad coverage and concentration in the area of the physical sciences, will be open to those who enter the College in the academic year 1946-1947 and later.
