A series of into inning million, appear headed by Hill Fitz's billing, overcame an early Tufts one run lead and gave the Varsity its first win of the season, 5 to 2, at Soldiers Field Tuesday afternoon. In the next inning Harvard punched across two more runs. Saul Marlaschin singled through third and advanced two bases when Tuft's hurler Bob Kozman threw Don Swegan's sacrifice bunt wildly past first base. Petrillo walked to load the bases.
