At the present rate of admissions, total College enrollment for the summer term will not exceed 2000 men, 1000 less than the estimate made by Provost Buck three weeks ago, according to figures released yesterday by Registrar Sargent Kennedy '28.
To date, 810 new students already admitted have signified their intention of registering in June in addition to the 925 of the present undergraduates planning to continue through the summer. At the rate the Registrar's office is new accepting new applications, 35 or 40 a week, there will be a total of approximately 1000 by June 17.
