In their first meeting since 1940, the University's Board of Overseers will convene May 13th and 14th. A report on the inauguration of the new General Education Plan and a visit of veterans Housing Units will comprise the major business.
President Conant and William H. Clafflin '15, Treasurer of the University, will open the session of the board which dates back to 1637. At present it consists of a body of 30 alumni chosen for five year terms and holding ultimate veto power over all the decisions of the Corporation.
