J. V. MERMEN TO MEET ST. GEORGE'S TOMORROW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Hal Ulen's Jayvee swimming team will aim for its eighth win in nine starts when it meets a visiting squad from St. George's School tomorrow afternoon at the Indoor Athletic Building. This is relatively a preliminary to the Yale meet on March 16, when the Jayvees, who have not yet built up to their pre-war strength, will be swimming against well-seasoned men.

The all-Freshman team does not lack good material, however; prominent in Coach Ulen's calculations are Ted Norris, Howard Simpson, and Chuck Hoelzer. Norris has been doing very well in the 220- and 440-yard freestyle events, taking first place in every meet. He has a good chance to break the Freshman 440 record of 5 minutes, 4 4-10 seconds, and has already made better time in practice.
