Despite a late Leverett rally, Dunster House's high-powered basketball team captured their play-off contest with the Bunnies 31 to 28 Wednesday afternoon and earned the right to meet NROTC Company One for the intramural championship today. Len Ragozin, with 14 points, paced the Funsters in setting up an early lead that was often threatened, but never overcome by the Leverettmen.
Winners of their respective league competitions, Dunster and Company one will clash in a best two out of three finals today, Monday, and if necessary, Wednesday. Company One emerged from the all Navy tourney with a five and one record, while Dunster and Leverett had been tied at the same count of five wins and one defeat.
On another intramural front, Adams House tankmen yesterday tightened their grip on their swimming league lead by outsplashing Lowell 27 to 20 in the Indoor Athletic Building pool. Meanwhile Dunster athletes further bludgeoned Leverett with a 35 to 13 ducking to climb into fourth place behind Adams, Kirkland, and Winthrop.
