To help him supervise the University's vast "housekeeping" details, President Conant announced Tuesday the creation of a new post of Administrative Vice-President and the appointment of Edward Reynolds '15 to fill it.
Five months after the office of Provost was established to handle administrative problems connected with the Faculty and teaching equipment, the new post has been created to facilitate administration of purely business matters.
Winner of the Distinguished Service Medal, Reynolds was discharged from the Army last December.
