DEBATERS TO FACE COLUMBIA SQUAD

"Should wages be tied to profits?" will be the question under discussion tonight when the Harvard Debate Council tangles with a visiting team from Columbia University in the first debate of the spring term. The Lowell House Junior Common Room will be the scene of the contest, which will begin at 7:30 o'clock.

W. Brewster Kopp '47 and Robin F. Worthington '47 will defend the negative position for Harvard in tonight's debate. Among the Judges will be Walter J. Cunningham, instructor in Physics and senior tutor of Adams Houses, and Kurt W. Lessen, proctor in Lowell House.

In elections held just before exam period began last term, Richard T. Gill '48 was chosen to replace Albert J. Marks '47 as president of the Debate Council. Monroe S. Singer '47 and Ray A. Goldberg '48 were named secretary-treasurer and publicity manager respectively.
