Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Two hundred sixty-seven degrees were conferred on students in the University yesterday, with less than half of them awarded in the College. Of the Bachelor degrees, 66 were for the A. B., 23 with honors; and 47 were for the B. S., 8 with honors.
Among the graduate school degrees were 42 Masters of Arts, 7 Masters of Arts in Teaching, 33 Doctors of Philosophy, 11 Masters of Science, 2 Doctors of Science, 24 Masters of Education, 4 Doctors of Education, 2 Bachelors of Architecture, and 4 Masters of Architecture.
Heading the list of honor students in the College were Willard Thomas Grubb, Jr. '45, who received a Summa Cum Laiste degree, and Mitchell Irs Goodman '45, Reuben, Philip Hersh '47, and Allan Johnson '47, who received Magua Cum Laiste degrees.
